When my husband and I set out to build a little zen garden in our front yard, we envisioned ourselves mindfully creating grooves in the gravel with a real zen garden rake.  At the time, we had no idea where we could find such a rake, until we discovered the Mudmom's website! 

 When the rake arrived, we were delighted over all the tender loving care that obviously went into making it!  Not only is the rake artistically beautiful with its simple lines and sturdy wood, but it also works to perfection.  We can create graceful lines in the gravel, and it feels good doing it.  Thanks for infusing the rake with a truly zen spirit.  We are one with it!

I just had to write to tell you how much my husband and I love your products that I recently purchased.  The Zen Garden is a real conversation starter in our house. The Garden and rake arrived quickly and in perfect condition, as promised.  It was a bonus for me to be able to pick the color of the bowl, choose figurines and the rake that would best match our Great Room. Everyone who enters our home is drawn to pick up the rake and draw designs in the sand in our Garden.   I also purchased a large rake for our outside Japanese Garden.  It’s perfect for drawing designs in our white rock.  I’m so happy I found your website!

Got the rakes today and they are perfect. The beautiful silk bags are a really nice touch. Thank you so much for seeing us through our building of the garden. We spent 3 days over the weekend-building the Torii gate and staining the fence black.  Laid the black plastic to prevent weeds. Laid the edging of the river bed. We moved 21 tons of black slate, river rock and river boulders to create the stream . The rakes arrived today-perfect timing the sand will arrive on Friday and then the fun will begin. I will send photos. May be by mail if I can't figure our how to post and email. Not real computer swift. I do want to share with you. It has been very sweet in the development how people will visit and begin to help us unsolicited. We have been visited by a bald eagle, 2 hawks fly over the garden daily now and we have had an abundance of butterflys, and dragon, damsel flys also.I do believe the Universe is supporting our venture. I am glad it introduced us.

I wept the first time I used my beautiful Zen rake.  You know how it is when you've had a dream for a few years and then magically (with the help of Mudmom) it is manifested and you see it before you. Each day I use my Zen rake and create a new design , sit on my bench and meditate .I start with my gratitude for a dream realized.

Dear Elizabeth,

I received the rake on Wednesday and am very pleased! The silk sleeve is frosting on the cake and I love

returning the rake to it after each use.  When I went to pick it up yesterday to take it to show someone, I

started looking at the pattern on the material.  Then, as I grabbed my pocketbook I realized it had the exact

same pattern!!!  Obviously, I was meant to have it.
